7 tabs opening in browser

Wow, here's a really strange problem: I just got an confirmation from Macy's
for some merchandise I ordered online. The confirmation has various links to
the site, such as "check order status," etc. When I click on such a link, it
opens seven (yes, seven) tabs in my browser (Firefox). Most of these tabs are
to my ISP site, why I have no idea. One tab opens an e-mail form, apparently
to Macy's, but it has nothing but a comma in the address field. I have never
seen or heard of anything like this before. Anyone have any ideas?

thanx,
Ron

Hi Ron,

This may be a phishing scam for you personal information. Be careful.
Go to Macy's website manually, instead of the link provided.

Don't think it's a phishing expedition. I sent this e-mail to my computer at
work, which also uses Firefox, and it worked fine from there. Back home, I
also tried IE 7 and Thunderbird, and similar problems exist. Must be a
problem with Vista, eh?
