Jason, if my memory is correct custom emoticons do not get properly migrated
when they are not given a name (I believe there was a minimum characters
too..but it's been so long since I upgraded to WLmsgr I don't remember how
many).
Just a hint in which direction too look
I've posted a fix...for those who have lost custom ones and have problem re
adding them back in in the thread called "Lost emoticons due to mandatory
upgrade to version 8.1" by MKF
