Okay, look, folks,
My errors continue. 800710dd is entirely un-documented and pooey-going.
I've got only 50 machines that need this resolved -- like right now.
Next month I deploy this franken-**** to an electrical utility's ~900
mobile laptops.
I'd love to say that MS has a product that will patch MS's own holes,
but my experience with this is leading me to believe the AU/WU engine is
so badly documented.. that the patching products are useless.
No, no kidding.
The lack of documentation and support for this "free" product yet again
indicates that MS does not put any significant value on security.
Bill, Steve and whoever else steer the monopoly -- please hear this now
and hear it clearly:
Your security products *!SUCK!* and I'll be damned if I'll advocate
using your unsupported trash.
In my ~150 seat tinkering, the AUS/WUS is a total joke. No kidding,
it's a complete ****ing laugh-if-you-weren't-crying affair.
Let me repeat: WUS, SUS and the WU/AU client.. &!SUCK!&, *!SUCK BIG
TIME*!, *#% SUCK SO BADLY that we giggle about it %#*%$, occasionally..
ttfn,
S.
