80072EFE in log

Hi All,

We're looking to move from WUS to WSUS. Installed a new Server (Win2003)
front end and WIn2003 SQL 2000 SP3 backend running WSUS RC1. Installation
worked fine. We've directed some existing clients to the new server and they
are appearing however the status report for all remains "Not yet Reported".
All the logs contain error 80072efe (see below).

Any ideas on the problem or how to track it down?

Hi John,

i couldn´t help you. But it seems that you succesfully have installed a
frontent WSUS with a backend (remote) SQL database. Congratulations!

I´ve tried this, but i get the event 421 when i start the update service
(already described by Stefano B* in "Some WSUS errors").
Did you have this problem or not?
Did you have a solution, that the frontend WSUS could be authorized by the
backend database?
