Make sure that the cert has the exact same name as the server (typically same
name as what you would use when connecting through OWA). This is how I've
been able to get this working.
My problem was that I was using "mail.company.com" on the pocket pc settings
for active sync, but the cert had a name of servername.company.com.
My setup:
Exchange Server:
Name: server.company.com
CA:
Name: server.company.com
In the settings for AS on your pocket PC, server will be server.company.com,
with SSL enabled.
Make sure your CA shows up on your mobile certs.
As long as you can access OWA with server.company.com then this should work.
Please keep in mind that I used generic names (server.company.com) and it
does not necessarily need to be THE server name.
