80073712 error but no pending.xml file found

I am using Vista Home Premium and getting the 80073712 error for KB905866. I
have followed the directions below but I can't find the pending.xml file
anywhere on my system. Please note that I have already tried to bring the
KB update in under admin but this also was no good..... What else can I
do??????

Previous directions:
