RE INSTALL MEDIA PLAYER USING THE ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS.

I had the same problem, don't download and try to install it. Use the add
remove programs in Control Panel. On the edge Tabs Click Windows Components.
Then Check the Mdia Played Box. and there it is! BACK AGAIN

Just a reply from someone with the same problem

I've done all that but
1. the box IS already checked
2. when I undo the check then reinpu it then "next" takes me into "Set U"
but that demands my Windows XP Home disk. My PC "MESH" only came with a
Recovery Disk and I haven't seen that for a couple of years.

I cannot reload MP10 because it says my ops system is not compatable [ I
have SP3 and ALL MS updates installed] This has been going on for some time
and I use I Player and Real Audio most of the time for my Music collection
but I do not seem to be able to play any WMV files .
Please help
