800F0102

Hello,

I have a clean install of Windows vista premium and when I try and run
windows update it comes up and says install failed error 800F0102. I have
tried switching off antivirus and firewall programs but it still comes up
with the error message. Has anyone come across this error?

That's a somewhat unusual error. It means that an attempt to connect to the
Windows Update site timed out without receiving a reply. It may have been a
temporary glitch with the site, or it may be a network connectivity problem
on your machine or network. Are you on a corporate network of any sort?
