80246002 error, while tring to download nVidia sound updates

Whenever I try to play LoTR: BfME it crashes and comes up with a debug error.
So I went to Windows Update and found out that I need to download and install
the following updates:

Nvidia Corporation - Sound - NVIDIA(R) nForce(TM) Audio Codec Interface
Nvidia Corporation - Sound - NVIDIA(R) nForce(TM) MCP Audio Processing Unit

So I tried but on downloading them, they both fail. I have tried to follow
the help passages, but no use!
Can someone PLEASE help me, thank you very much!

See if you can find the drivers on the Nvidia web site itself. It is usual
policy to NOT get drivers from the MS Updates and more often than not, they
cause problems.

It's ok! I found and installed all nVidia updates (sound and graphics) the
reinstalled, that sort it out!

How did you get the update? I tired the NVIDIA website and it gave me a few
files and no instructions on how to install them.
