82801ER SATA RAID Controller

Is there going to be a update for 82801ER SATA RAID Controller for Vista?
When I put the floppy in Vista does not see the drivers at all to include
Silicon Image 3114 drivers which the Vista Advisor said I would have to look
at the manufacture's site.

You can get a sata raid driver for 82801ER from Intel. Search for the RAID
Matrix Driver. The latest version does not support 82801er, but early
versions do. I have the same controller as you. I had to load it via
floppy,and point Vista to look for it at the floppy drive. The open window
to load vista is blank until you load the driver. But, the driver works! At
that point you can delete or creat a partition,and format too. Seems Visita
will let you use the whole partition, unlike XP that saves a small part of
the partition. I hope this helps... check Intel web site for that driver!
