85010008 - The proxy server you have specified is incompatible...

Hi

I cannot get WM5 devices to sync to our exchange server internally. The
problem is only with WM5. WM2003 devices sync both externally and internally.
WM5 devices will sync externally via GPRS or internally if I exclude
*.domain.com to get around the proxy but then not externally. Its one or the
other I am afraid.

The error message that I am receiving from activesync is Support Code :
85010008 and the
message says "The proxy server you have specified is incompatible with your
device. Specify the correct proxy server in your connection configuration".

The proxy server in question is ISA 2000.
Any ideas/help ?

The HTTP proxy requires authentication. Proxies which require a password
isn't currently supported for Exchange Sync.
