Thanks for replying. I tried what you told me, but it didn't work. I
downloaded [com_microsoft.IE6-0SP1-KB912812-Windows-98-ME-x86-178530]. I boot
in safe mode. I install the update. It finishes and everything seems fine,
but after waiting a while, I tried to shut down the computer, it gives me the
messages that "?" is still running. It doesn't give me the name of the file
or program. Since I don't want to end the installation, I choose cancel (not
Wait, or End Task). The computer shuts down. When I boot again and go to WU,
It tells me I still need the update. (Note: My system restore is off).
Any Idea what to do?
