918899 and IE SP2

So I've got IE SP2. I hear that 918899 isn't needed if you have IE
SP2. So why does WU tell me I need it?

That's simply not true. IE6 SP2 was and is not affected by the clitch,
that KB918899 version 1 presented to IE 6 *SP1* users on Windows 2000 and
Windows XP *SP1* *exclusivly*. So there's no version 2 of KB918899 for
IE 6 SP2.
