936782 won't download

Hello:

I just did my August updates today, I have one issue update 936782 will not
download. I can not get it through automatic updates I can not get it going
to the update site. At the windows update site it just sits there and says
downloading but nothing ever happens.

I have never had any problems getting updates before, the only issue I have
ever had with updates is a few months ago I quit getting the green progress
bar when scanning to see what updates I need but the page changes and I get
the report even though I don't get the progress bar.

If anyone can tell me why I am not getting the Media Player Update 936782
that would be great.

Hm, what's the version of Windows Media Player installed on your
machine? You may try downloading the relevant update for the WMP
version installed manually:

For WMP9:

Well after writing this I decided to just let the darn thing sit there. It
never showed that it was doing a download while I was watching it but sure
enough when I went back to the computer after doing other things around the
house it finally came down and installed properly.

I don't know what happened maybe there was an issue on the update server and
it finally let the thing come down.

Anyway all is done and working now.
