98SE to XP Home Edition

Hi,I'm going to update my OS from 98se to XP Home Edition and my question
is,can I update the ATI Radeon drivers from 98se to XP b/4 I update the OS ??
Will the video card function ok using XP drivers on 98SE ? TIA

If there are specific Windows XP drivers, they will not work with Windows
XP.

But if that's the case,will my 98se video card drivers work in XP b/4 I'm
able to update them?? Or will Xp use default drivers when I update the OS to

Tony;
You probably will not need to uninstall the Windows XP drivers.
If that is the case, Windows XP will install drivers during installation.
But you should ask this in a Windows XP newsgroup:
