Able to connect to Internet from Safe Mode, but not Normal Mode

Any suggestions?? I have ran Spy-bot and AdAware several times to rid my
system of viruses and spyware. I am wondering if I have something deep
seeded in my system.

Hello, I am able to connect to IE from Safe Mode, but not Normal Mode, any
suggestions? I have XP w/ service Pack2. Any suggestions? I have ran Spy-bot
and ADAware on my system several times.

Liz, your problem does not appear to be associated with the windows
update feature unless you recently installed an update from the WU site
and this problem then happened. If that's not the case, post your
question to an appropriate group, either one for IE or for
windowsxp.general. Here is a list of all MS newsgroups:
