Access 2000 Could not use 'Admin'; file already in use. (Error 304

I created a database and then tried to open it a couple of days later. The
error message is show above.

I running Vista and log-in through my administrator account. I even tried
opening the databases in a guest account.

I thought that the file was corrupted, but it opened just fine on my
notebook computer running same Access version but with Windows XP.

All of my databases give the same error message. I have tried opening them
as read only, exclusive, and exclusive read-only. Same error.

This has to be a bug in Vista. Any ideas? Everything I could find dealt
with multiple uses. Since I can open this fine on my XP notebook it seems
there is something in Vista.
