Access was denied halfway through install

I have been the only private personal owner of this computer. I have never
shared, lent, or sold any software. I have purchased all the software that I
use. Yet access is denied halfway through installation, no error, Why?

Hi,

I had a similar problem, said "access denied c:\windows\system32\ftp.exe is
in open or in use by other application"

Is this the same error?
