Access denied for Service Pack 2

During the istallation for SP2 on Windows XP, it just shut off the "access
denied" message popped up. Then, it automatically started uninstalling SP2.
What is the problem?

Be sure you are logged to an account with Administrator access.
Try another account with Administrator access.
Check for viruses and spyware.
Otherwise follow the Service Pack Installation Checklist:
