Access is denied, ... SP 2 Set-up Error

Hi:
I got SP 2 CD directly from Microsoft.

It went smooth until I see in the middle of the screen,

"Access Denied" and at the top of the box
"Service Pack 2 SetUp Error, "

What does it mean?
Other computer which is 2 years older has NO problem of installation
of SP 2 by using the same CD, then this makes me perplexed.

Any ideas on this 'error' message?
