I am constantly getting the 'access denied' message when trying to access a
folder.
I have tried to add to the 'send to' folder but it will not let me in!
Is there any way of turning off ALL such restrictions - I am the only user
of the computer - I do not need all this so-called protection!
Many thanks -- D Smith

What folder is it, as some folders are restricted?

Can you access it as Administrator?

Keep replies *in* the newsgroups. Your reply was added above.

Sorry - I did not snap to the connection to the "Send To" folder and your
first sentence.

SendTo in Vista/7 is not quite the same as it was in Windows XP. Probably
when you are trying - you just type "SendTo" in the RUN prompt and expect it
to work. No go. That takes you to the wrong location. ;-)

Instead (and a Google search would have given you the 'location of the
SendTo folder in Windows Vista') type in:

%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo

Then click OK. Better?
