"Access denied." for wmiprvse.exe -Embedding, on LINQ installation

Hello,

I am trying to install LINQ Preview (May 2006).msi on Win XP SP2
(danish version).

Please read my log (& WMI Diagnostic Utility errors (if they have
anything to do with it) & write me what to do to get it installed!!!

I have been using many evenings on this issue.

MY SQL Server 2005 installation gives an error (simliarly) too:
"The SQL Server System Configuration Checker cannot be executed due to
WMI configuration on the machine IBM-ACC242B7BEF Error: 2147942405
(0x80070005).

Concerning WMI installion, the Program Log says:
Product: Microsoft .NET LINQ Preview (May 2006) -- Error 1720. There is
a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for
this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support
personnel or package vendor. Custom action
ShutdownUndesirableProcesses script error -2147024891, SWbemObjectSet:
Adgang nægtet. Line 604, Column 5,

Concerning the WMI installation the System Log says:
A DCOM-Server could not start: 73E709EA-5D93-4B2E-BBB0-99B7938DA9E4}.
Error:
"Access denied." occured with the command:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\wbem\wmiprvse.exe -Embedding

The WMI Insatllation system log message resembles the error i get when
I install the SQL 2005 server.

I tried these (alleged solutions) from the command line:
wmiprvse /regserver
regsvr32 wbemsvc.dll
I tried reinstalling VS 2005 (this includes (i believe) :NET 2.0) &
MSDN

These did not work!

I ran the WMI Diagnostic utility & it shows these warnings & errors:
(this may help in telling what i should do)
