Access Denied with XP SP2

So far, every PC we upgrade has worked, except for one.
The machine gives an "Access denied" error. I've tried
running SP2 as a Domain Admin and the real/local Admins.

I have not found any good references to point me in the
direction that I need to go. Although some of them gave
me the idea that there might be permissions problems in
the machine's registry. Any ideas where I should begin
to do the troubleshooting to find the problem?
Same thing via Microsoft's CD, network copy and from WU.

I suggest you start out with the SubInAcl.exe tip there and see if
that solves your problem.
