I performed a Windows update on 1-20-05 that seems to have changed access to
the mac volumes on my 2000 server. Access to mac volumes on the server no
longer works via default ethernet 802.2. Mac's are running OS 9.2 and can
connect to mac volumes on the 2000 server via MacIP and via ethernet if 802.3
is checked in the mac tcp/ip control panel. Both of these options don't allow
internet access, so they're not acceptable options, nor is changing between
MacIP and ethernet to access the volumes. Problem seems to be tied to
authentication because once volumes are mounted via MacIP or ethernet 802.3 I
can switch the mac tcp/ip control panel setting to default ethernet 802.2.
and continue to access the volumes provided I don't restart the mac. I
performed Windows updates on several servers a few days earlier (1-17) and
Mac volumes appear fine. If I can identify the patch is there a way to
uninstall it?
