access my host file

I've tried opening notepad with Run as admin browsing to the hosts file
and got Access Denied. I then went to the properties fo the host file
and took ownership of the file with the admin account. I still got
Access Denied. What do I need to do to open the host file. This is one
of those I really hate Vista moments.

What antivirus or antispyware are you using? Try disabling it before
accessing the hosts file. If that doesn't work, try booting into safe
mode next.
