Access violation playing a game

wondering if anyone can help when playing a game called king mania i keep
getting the message

"error: access violation at Dx10003c101c (tried to write to 0x04ec101c),
program terminated."

now i have no idea what any of that means or what is happening and i can't
seem to find any help for it anywhere if anyone could help that would be
great thanx.

The first thing you should do is contact the game manufacturer, distributer
or developer and ask them for assistance.

already did that, they don't seem to know why it is happening either, they
offered me a refund but i would like to know why it happens.

Hmmm ... maybe if they aren't willing to support Vista you should take the
refund and find a game that does. :-)
