Accessing a 2nd hard drive on same computer

1st hard drive connected as master (Maxtor 40 gig) operating XP Prof. 2nd
hard drive connected as slave (10 gig Western Digital) operating Win 98SE. I
need to be able to choose access to these hard drives when booting up.
How do I set up my computer to give me a choice of either hard drive when
booting up?
At this point when clicking F8 when booting up, XP Prof is the only choice
of entry, and when I click on "my computer" the slave drive displays a folder
stating "recycled" with no way to access drive.
Would appreciate help, Thanks

You need to install a third-party boot manager - or do a repair install of
XP to be able to use XP's built-in boot manager.
My preference would be to install the 3rd-party manager - a good one is
available from www.bootitng.com.

Note 1 - I know of no free (good) 3rd-party boot managers
Note 2 - this is not the newsgroup where you should be asking this type of
question - this group is for questions regarding the Windows Update site,
and problems therein/from.

Thank you Noel for you help. I will look into Bootit. Are you familiar with
Disk Director Suite 9.0 from Acronis? (www.acronis.com) Are they similiar,
is one better than the other?

IMHO, BootitNG is the best Partition Manager around - especially for the
relatively small price, and with lifetime updates (at least for the
moment!).
It beats Partition Magic into a cocked hat for effectiveness and
compatibility, even if it doesn't have the pretty Windows interface.

I've never used Acronis, so can't comment on it.
