I am currently running Windows Vista Ultimate x32. I have three har
drives. Drive-C: is the system drive; Drive-D: is My Documents an
Drive-E for misc storage

When I first startup my computer, I can click on 'My Computer' icon an
can access all three drives and all the information, BUT when I exit an
then click on 'My Computer' icon again, all I get is a blank screen wit
NO listing of hard drives, CD player or DVD player

If I re-boot my system the process starts all over again

I have ran diskchk, virus/trojan scans and I get a clean bill o
health

Any help would be appreciated

Vista does create them actually, (well certainly My Documents - can't see a
"My Computer") but they are junction points (i.e. symbolic links) in order
for legacy applications to function correctly.

Asking a question?
Please tell us the version of the application you are asking about,
your OS, Service Pack level
and the FULL contents of any error message(s)

MY fault. It is 'computer' icon and INSTEAD of having a drive labele
'documents', I re-labeled it 'MY DOCUMENTS'

OS according to control panel -> system is Windows Vista Ultimat
w/service pack 1

There are NO error messages
