Accessing hotmail from messenger

Clicking the envelope icon opens a new window asking for hotmail sign in
instead of going to the inbox as you would expect.
Completing the fields opens another window saying the details are incorrect.
Completing that results in a continuous cycle of these two windows.
Reloaded, live messenger and IE7, cleared cookies and cache and
forms/passwords etc.
Logging in on another computer does not give any problem.
Help please.

Have you tried ticking/unticking the option:

Tools -> Options -> Security -> "Always ask me for my password when checking
Hotmail or opening other........"
