Accessing second User Account

Running Win XP Home SP2 with latest updates.

After loading KB925902 I received the "third-party driver relocation error"
mentioned in the Known Issues. A new driver from Realtek was installed and
the error message on boot up disappeared. However, I now have problems
accessing the second user account. It takes several tries of mouse clicking
before the second account comes up. The second account starts to load and
then aborts back to the user accounts selection screen. Sometimes about six
or ten tries are required to access the account. KB935448 has been installed,
but the same problem exists. The second account has been deleted and a new
account set up. The problem remains with this new user account.

Has anyone else experience this problem, or does anyone know of a solution?
