Accessing Windows Update

I have just bought a new laptop computer, i have connected it to my existing
wireless network which works fine on the other computers that use it. But on
the laptop i can't access windows update on internet explorer, no windows
related page will load - microsoft.com, msn.com or hotmail.com and i can't
sign into msn messenger. Please help!

Hi Mattj,

I had to re-set my Router "MTU" settings to 1400.

windowsXPSP2, 1 desktop, 1laptop networked via Linksys Router..
I had the same problem as you, exactly..
