AceEVENT Log.What creates it?

After reinstalling vista for the umpteenth time,clean install by the way, i
now notice that there is no ACEevent log in event viewer.
Can someone just explain possibly why it is not there and what actually does
the log,log?

It's created by your ATI video driver

sir,thank-you, but i installed version 7.12 catalyst c.c. and it did not
create the said log.i wonder why?

It's been removed in 7.12
