Hi,

Possibly a dumb/simple question.......

I'm new to Vista and have been looking for a way to instigate the screen
saver without waiting for the alloted time to run out.

Unfortunately so far I haven't found anything. The closest being a gadget
which displays the screen saver in the gadget bar!

I've searched for exe files that used to drive the screen savers and cannot
find anything.

Is there a way of setting this up in Vista (business)?

Cheers

Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the C:\Windows\System32 folder.

In the Search box (upper right corner) type: *.scr
This will give you a list of all the screensaver files.
Right click the one you want to use and select Create Shortcut.
A message will state "Cannot create shortcut here, do you want to place the
shortcut on the Desktop.
Click Yes and a shortcut for that screensaver will be placed on your
Desktop.
Go to the Desktop and double click the screensaver icon to start it.
