The only way I've found to activate the snip tool is with the link on the
Windows Help and Support page. Obviously, there must be a better way. Don't
see it anywhere. Thanks for your help - IM

I sent a shortcut to my desktop and then dragged it to my Quick Launch area.

Click All Programs - Accessories - Snipping Tool. Also, you may Pin it to the Start menu by right-clicking and choosing the "Pin to Start Menu" option.

Make a shortcut on your desktop, or add it to your start menu. The actual
file location is here: %SystemRoot%\system32\SnippingTool.exe

Check in (c):\Windows\System32 for SnippingTool.exe--drag it somewhere to
make a shortcut.
If it's not in Windows/System32, you may find it in
Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft-windows-tabletpc-snippingtool_31bf...............
You may need to unhide system files/folders in Explorer to see either.

Imageman,

Click Start, type "snippingtool" in the Search box, and press ENTER. Does it work? The file SnippingTool.exe is located in the C:\Windows\System32 folder.
