Is it possible to re-activate Vista via E-Mail? I am hearing impaired and
have problems understand the long string on numbers.
If possible what is the address?
Thanks

Hello,

no, this is impossible. It only works over Internet, by Phone and using a
key server.

Greetings,

There are only two ways to activate: internet or phone.
Perhaps you can contact a friend to help you.

Better still, remove activation entirely ...

Activation only allows two options - Internet or Telephone. Maybe the best
option is to ask a friend to make the call and he/she can relay the digits
to you. Once you have activated you might consider buying a third party
imaging application such as Acronis True Image and creating an image of your
hard drive. You can then store the image onto a DVD (or set of DVDs) or
another hard drive. Should you, at a later date, have problems you can
always re-image your hard drive from the copy you made with, say Acronis,
and your activation would still be intact. Obviously, if you change any
hardware in the meantime, you will still need to re-activate.

DOH !

At first I thought it was some type of activation patch!!!

I was going to ask if this was the same patch as the Vista Ultimate
(Permanently Activated) version that had been floating around the
binaries.

So why doesn't Microsoft provide proper means for people that are hearing
disabled to do activation? What if the person has no help available at
that time?

That's pretty sad in my opinion...

Microsoft does have TTY available for the hearing impaired. If someone is
hard of hearing, their local telephone company may provide the required
hardware free of charge.

Activate Windows using Microsoft Text Telephone:
