Activation Problem after Upgrading from 180 Day Eval

While waiting for our school to become an Academic Alliance member, we
installed the 180 day evaluation copy of Windows Server 2003 Enterprise. Now
that we're "legal", I attempted to upgrade the 180 day eval license using a
valid copy of Win2003 Enterprise Server. Upgrade went smoothly, but upon
final reboot I receive the login screen and upon logging in receive a message
that Windows 2003 Server must be activated. So far so good. When I press
the button to activate the product I receive a screen stating that the
product is already activated and my only choice is CANCEL (shut down the
machine), ACTIVATE (loops right back to same screen stating it's already
activated) or LATER (loops me back to login screen).

As you can see it's a round-robin that I can't get out of. Any help in
getting this successfully activated would be appreciated. I can't get a
phone number to do it over the phone with a rep because the product claims
it's already activated!

Need to get this server up and running ASAP for college classes and am not
having much luck. Would appreciate any help as soon as possible.
