Hello,

I have some shared folders on a serveur.
Some of the users of thoses folders are regrouped on Domain group names.

For ex : CTD ( which contain users nana.john, daniel.mon, Chris.talloy
etc...)

How can I get (export) the users list form thoses groups ?
I think i'm using Active directory stuff (I don't know the meaning) / and
those groups are called Domains groups.

If someone understand that, and can help me, it would be great !!!

Cheers
Mathew

you want to edit or review user right accesses?
I can't understand what you want to do!
but i provide you some advises:

you can find user groups under "Active Directory Users and Computers" in
"Administrative Tools" which placed into "control panel"
(my computer>control panel>administrative tools>Active Directory Users and
Computers) and you can edit groups if you have admin access.

if your shared folders are on a NTFS drive you can set permission of each
folder in security tab under folder properties (menu:
File>Properties>Security tab)

also you can set permission of shared folders in share permission (menu:
file>properties>sharing tab > permissions botton)

also you can set permission of groups and users in security policy which is
placed in administrative tools (domain security pol / local security pol./
domain controller security pol.)

and another way is editing accesses in group policy which can run it from
(Start > run > gpedit.msc)

don't forget that domain security policy will overwrite on local security
pol.

if you wand delete someone from a group open that user in "Active Directory
Users and Computers > users" and under "member of" tab delete each group
that you want or open that group and under "members" tab delete each user
that you want

Do you have Active Directory? or your server is a local computer?!!!

sorry i can't help you any more.
describe your problem clearly to continue, please!

Kind Regards,
Farzad Hayati.
