Active Sync authentication?

Hi,

afaik it is possible to authenticate an PPC via
certificate OR via Username/Password.

Is it also possible to combine these two?
So you have basicly a two factor auth.
(you "have" the Certificate and you "know" the
username/password).

Is it possible to use _both_ at the same Time?

Or depends this on the type of the mobile phone?
Iphone, Windows Mobile act in the same way?
