Active Sync Error!"The instruction..The memory could not be "writt

Started getting this error message when I installed my Axim X5 on a new work
computer (Windows XP Pro). It used to sync perfectly, but now I get the
error messages:

"The instruction at 0x77f58ddf referenced memory at 0x5ae980e0. The memory
could not be "written""

and

"The instruction at 0x77f8353b referenced memory at 0x00208588. The memory
could not be "read""

Does this mean anything to anybody? I've performed soft resets and removed
all storage cards, but still get the message. I wanted to check all my
options before trying a hard reset, so if anyone can help it would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks!

you may want to upgrade ActiveSync on your desktop.

Hi Mike,

On the desktop ActiveSync, click Tools-> Options and select only one
information type and attempt to sync. Repeat the same for other information
types one a time. See if it displays the error message for any particular
information type or all of them.

Hello Mike,

Move all your files out of the synchronization folder to a temp folder and
then sync the files one at a time to identify the files.
