Hello,
We have Exchange Server with MS Active Sync set-up and I am unable to set-up
my Blackberry to sync calendar and task items. Emails work using the Outlook
Web Access. The Blackberry comes with a primary email account provided by
AT&T. Do I have to delete it in order to have my exchange email set as
primary? Please help me make this work.
Thank you,

Well, you're sort of out of luck here. Blackberries don't use ActiveSync.
You won't get the full wireless syncing people expect from a Blackberry
unless you have Blackberry Server. That said, you might talk to your IT
people - there's a free single-user license included with the first BB in
the organization for Blackberry Professional Server Express. See
http://www.blackberry.com/select/pro.../express.shtml for info. Any
additional Blackberries would require a CAL (those are about $90) and I
forget how many it supports maximum. You will need your provider (ATT) to
first "provision the handheld for Enterprise activation."

What you're using now is BIS (Blackberry Internet Services) - it talks to
OWA. It doesn't sync calendar/contacts/tasks, though. And it does suck, just
not as much as the desktop redirector and "forwards" suck. If you aren't
going to use Blackberry server, don't use a Blackberry - get an ActiveSync
capable device.
