Hi Joe,
Sounds like you have three separate issues, is that correct?
1) Syncing both at home and at work
I'd like some more information, if you don't mind.
- What versions of Active Sync do you have on each machine?
- What versions of Outlook do you have on each machine?
- When you are syncing at home, are you syncing to Outlook? Is Outlook
connecting to an exchange server or to an IMAP or POP3 server?
- Are you seeing an error message when you try to sync at work?
2) Wireless syncing
When you mean wireless, do you want a wireless connection to your desktop or
do you want to sync to the Exchange server wirelessly?
You should be able to sync via IR or Bluetooth to your desktop, depending on
what you want to do
You should be able to sync via WIFI, GPRS, or dialup directly to the
Exchange Server, depending on some other factors
3) Opening a word file from the network
I think it is probably best for you to copy the word file onto your device.
If you want to keep the files synchronized, you can choose to sync files when
you sync to the desktop.
