active sync no longer connects to PC

I've wasted hours trying uninstalls, installs and everything I could find. Is
there any way to talk to a human being at micorosoft to get my activesync
working with my xp pc sp2? I am using a cingular 8125 windows mobile 5.0 and
the USB in various port attempts doesn't find the device or recognize it. Any
ideas out there?
