Active Sync to Windows Mobile Home

I am using Windows XP Pro at work with Outlook 2003. At home I have Vista
Home Premium with Outlook 2007. I use a Dell Axim x51 that is about eighteen
months old.

Can I sync between the two versions? The Axim worked from moving from the
2003 system to the 2007 system just fine but is having troulbe when I go to
sync from the last 2007 sync.

This is a huge issue....... well for me.

I have no experience with Vista and syncing but I would have thought this
should work. Unless the mobile device manager in Vista is altering the
format of the data so it is no longer compatible with older sync software.

Do you use an exchange server at work? It might be possible to sync via the
exchange server directly rather than through the PC. This would allow you
to sync your mail, calendar, notes, contacts. Syncing files should still be
possible via your sync software at work.
