Active Sync Wireless AND Desktop

Hi, we are configuring some QTEK 9090 with wireless Active Sync 3.8 on
exchange 2003.

On Active Sync I go through Options / Sync Options / Server / Enable sync
with a server / Configure... / Server Connection / Connection... and input
public server name user psw domain etc.
With this configuration the PocketPC synchronizes correctly by wireless, but
I would synchronize also by usb connection when I'm in the office. Instead
when the pocket pc is plugged I can sync only notes, task and files.

Is there a way to sync both wireless and with desktop ? This would useful
especially for the first sync so you haven't to download a lot of contacts
messages and calendar by wireless.....

I looked on many newsgroups and articles and it seems that this isn't
possible.... It's real?
many thanks in advance

you should be able to use desktop to sync with exchange server. If you use
proxy to access internet from the office, you need to set proxy up as well
on the PPC.

it is an "Either/or" for syncing between server and desktop. You can't set
it up to sync email (for example) both ways. You have to make a choice.
Lame, I know. You could try doing passthrough to get to your server through
the USB connection if you wanted to avoid the wireless for that first big
sync of the day but I bet it is as slow.
