Hi,
I could really use someone's help. I have a Dell Axim x3. I have
Activesync 3.7.1 and Outlook 2003 installed on a Windows XP laptop. Outlook
2003 is running on the laptop with Exchange 5.5 servers. My problem is when
I am syncing I get the following errors:
WCESMgr.exe Application Error
The instruction at "0x77f580db" referenced memory at 0x0000000". The
memory could not be written.
WCESMgr.exe Application Error
The instruction at "0x77f82e87" referenced memory at "0xfffffff8". The
memory could not be written.
After a few google searches I found a couple of recommendations...like
making sure Outlook is installed before Activesync, make sure you have
Collaboration Data Objects selected in your Office installation, and to run
a detect and repair on Outlook. I've tried all of that.
I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Activesync, removed the data from
the Axim and resynced.
The errors only come up when syncing the inbox. I turn off inbox in
Activesync....I get no errors. I have looked at the WCESMGR.log and
WCESCOMM.log (attached) and don't see anything in there that really explains
what is going on. I think it has something to do with emails that have
attachments on them. But not all attachments have a problem and it is not
consistent. So I am asking for any help that anyone can provide!!!
THANKS!!!!
