ActiveSync 4.0 problems

Hi,

I used activesync 4.0 to sync outlook calendar from my work laptop to my
phone, it was working fine, but now i installed 4.2, and when i plug in my
phone, activesync 4.2 crashes, after that outlook cannot be started either, i
needed to restart my computer every time.

Here's some information:
- On my work laptop I have Windows XP and Outlook 2003
- My phone is a Cingular 2125, with Windows CE 5.0

If you don't have the solution to this problem, I'd love to just revert back
to 4.0, but I can't find the download site for it any more.

Can you please help?

(Sorry I had the wrong subject in my last post, I'm having 4.2 problems. Some
more details - after both ActiveSync and Outlook crash on my laptop because
of an attempted sync, I restarted my laptop, and my Outlook would start. When
it opens up, many many blank appointments are created for the time slot of
the attempted sync. Not if this is useful information. Please help!)
