ActiveSync 4.1 & Exchange 2003 - Waiting For Network...

I'm trying to sysnc my WM2005 Device with Exchange 2003 sp2, I do not have a
root certificate.

Device syncs OK using internal WiFi connection, however when using GPRS
connection once the connection is established after a minute or so
ActiveSync displays 'Waiting For Network'

The way I've removed the Root Certificate Check is to add a registry entry
'Secure=0' to the ActiveSync settings.

Can anyone explain what is happening when the 'Waiting For Network' messgae
is displayed ?

Hi,
Were you able to confirm that the DNS lookup of the host is working
correctly via GPRS? You can use vxutil from www.cam.com to check this.

I too am having this same issue on a Cingular 2125 device that I just
got. The error code that I get is 0x80070102.

I got it to sync the first time I set it up and possibly one additional
time. I then realized I had it on Manual and switched it to automatic
ever 10 min and have not been able to receive any further syncs.
