ActiveSync 4.1 and remote sync

I'm a confused about 4.1 and the removal of remote sync. I am using 4.1 and
I have have a PPC 6700 and the device can sync to the exchange server when it
is in the cradle, and it can sync to the Exchange server via a wireless
connection - either on Sprint's wireless network or on my wireless network at
home. Does remote sync refer to something else? I would expect this not to
work if remote sync is no longer available.

Ok I realize now that they are talking about remote PC sync not Exchange
server sync.
