I cannot get my O2 Atom to sync with my computer with ActiveSync 4.1.
I did it on a bluetooth device that uses widcomm stack. The PDA only
reconise the ActiveSync service provided by the widcomm stack as a serial
port connection and do not allow me to connect to the port to perform
ActiveSync.

I tried using another bluetooth device that support the windows stack and it
syncs perfectly.

Is there any known issue with Windows Mobile 5 / ActiveSync 4.1 syncing to
widcomm bluetooth stack?

William

I had the same problem with Toshiba stacks on 2 of my computers. I had to
restore my computers to a point before the AS4.1 install, unistall BT, and
reinstall BT and then AS4.1. And I had to do this 3 times.

Something is seriously wrong with AS4.1!!!!!!

Check that the PC's ActiveSync connection setting's "Allow connections to
one of the following" is checked and the BlueTooth's serial com port is
selected. Also verify that the BlueTooth com port number which was created
is in the lower number range.
