ActiveSync 4.1 - Treo 700w - Security certificate invalid

I am unable to get my Treo 700w ActiveSync to sync with my Exchange 2003
server over the air. It gives me "The security certificate on the server is
invalid" message. I don't understand how this can be invalid when we have
people using OWA, OMA and RPC or HTTP without any problems. Not to mention
we have a handfull of Treo 650 users that use VersaMail and activesync and it
works on those.

I have copied the certificate over to my 700 and it shows up under Root, but
I still get the same error. I am not sure what else to try. Any ideas?

Ok, this is what I had to do. We are using self issued certificates. As I
stated all other Exchange related apps were working. I was able to get the
certificate on the phone, but still had the problem. I looked at the details
of my certificate and went to the certification path tab. It had 2
certificates listed for the path the server that issued the cert and then our
front end server. All I had to do is install both certificates, first I
installed the certificate of our CA and then the one for our front end
server. I had tried putting both on before, but I put our CA on after the
FE. Hope this helps someone else and save them days of searching websites
and forums.
